Gail Dickinson

Gail Dickinson is assistant professor of school library media in the Department of Educational Curriculum and Instruction, Darden College of Education, at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Previously, she was assistant professor in the Library and Information Studies Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been a building level school library media specialist at the K-12 level in public and private schools, as well as a library supervisor. Her education includes a Ph.D. in education from the University of Virginia, and a MS in LS from UNC-Chapel Hill.
