We Are Water Protectors Poster

This poster from artist Michaela Goade is an homage to the 2021 Caldecott Medal-winning book she illustrated, We Are Water Protectors, written by Carole Lindstrom. Inspired by the many Indigenous-led movements across North America, We Are Water Protectors issues an urgent rallying cry to safeguard the Earth’s water from harm and corruption. Michaela is honored to work with Indigenous authors and tribal organizations in the creation of much-needed Indigenous books for young readers.
