Words Have Power Buttons, 18/pack
Celebrate the freedom to read by proudly proclaiming the power of words. Every year, hundreds of books are threatened with removal in libraries and schools across the U.S., but thanks to local literary champions – librarians, students and patrons – most challenges are unsuccessful. Banned Books Week in the fall celebrates these success stories and draws attention to the harms of censorship. These buttons are a visual reminder to challenge censorship during Banned Books Week, and every other day of the year.
