Since 2002 Tim Wadham has been an adjunct professor for the University of Arizona Library School, teaching courses in children's literature and youth services. A former director of the Puyallup Public Library in Puyallup, Washington, previously he also served as youth services coordinator for the Maricopa County Library District in Phoenix, Arizona. A children's author, he published his first picture book, The Queen of France, with Candlewick Press in 2011. He has written two other titles for ALA Neal-Schuman, including Libros Esenciales: Building, Marketing, and Programming a Core Collection of Spanish Language Children's Materials.

Instilling a love of reading in a child pays dividends long after early literacy skills have been mastered.
