Shel Silverstein Poster

A beloved American poet, cartoonist, playwright, performer, recording artist, and a Grammy-winning/Oscar-nominated songwriter, Shel Silverstein’s children’s books have sold over 35 million copies in the United States alone and have been translated into 41 foreign languages. This poster, which features Shel’s poem “Every Thing On It” and its accompanying illustration, will have curious kids pointing out everything that’s piled into Shel’s signature black and white art. The bookmark includes the poem “Ouch!”, about the “perils” of learning to read, and a drawing of the Letter Snake. Both poems are from Every Thing On It and both items are perfect for celebrating National Poetry Month in April and reading throughout the year.
