American soprano Renée Fleming is recognized worldwide for her artistry on the operatic stage, in orchestral concerts and recitals, on television, radio and recordings, and as a champion of new music. This Grammy Award winning artist’s parents were music teachers, so her musical training came naturally. She attended The Juilliard School and holds degrees from the State University of New York at Potsdam and the Eastman School of Music. In addition to her extensive performing schedule, Renée has also written a book, The Inner Voice: The Making of a Singer, reflecting on her career experiences.
