Rob Reid

Rob Reid, with more than 20 years' experience as children's librarian, teaches courses on children's and young adult literature and librarianship as full time lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is the author of Family Storytimes, Something Funny Happened at the Library, Cool Story Programs for the School-aged Crowd and other ALA Editions favorites. A regular contributor to Book Links, he is also a popular and entertaining presenter at conferences, libraries, and schools.

"Recommended for all school library media specialists in a K-12 setting and all public children or young adult librarians who are trying to get their students or their patrons to read more."
--ARBA

"Many librarians rely on the collective knowledge of their peers to create bibliographies, make recommendations, and share books with readers, and a resource such as this makes that job a bit easier."
--School Library Journal

"This is a very handy package of read-aloud suggestions for teachers, librarians and parents; it also provides an opportunity for readers to quite quickly become familiar with a selection of titles published in recent years, so it would be useful in readers' advisory work for children and young adults, and perhaps also in library selection/acquisition."
--The Australian Library Journal
