Maryann Brickey, MLS, is a Children’s Librarian and Branch Manager with Live Oak Public Libraries in Savannah, Georgia where she lives with her rescue dog Dolly Parton. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri, and completed her MLIS at the School for Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign in May of 2013. She has been working in public libraries ever since.
