Michele Zwierski

Michele Zwierski is the head of cataloging for the Nassau Library System of Long Island, New York. After receiving her MLS from the University of North Texas, she practiced as a cataloger, specializing in nonprint materials and working at academic libraries in Virginia, Connecticut, and Texas before joining the Austin Public Library as a branch manager. She is an adjunct instructor at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science, a contributor to the fifth edition of Cataloging Correctly for Kids, and a coauthor of the second edition of Unlocking the Mysteries of Cataloging (2015, Libraries Unlimited). Michele also has a Bachelor's of Music degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Master of Arts degree from the Yale School of Music.
