Making Your Library Marketing More Inclusive Workshop
A 90-minute workshop, Thursday, July 18, 2019, 2:30pm Eastern/1:30 Central/12:30 Mountain/11:30am Pacific

In communicating with our communities, we need to ensure that our imaging, messaging, targeting, and language speaks to everyone. Having a well-tailored marketing strategy is a must for any library, and you need to ensure that diversity and inclusion are at the center of your approach.

In this workshop, Kim Crowder, a marketing and communications expert with experience in libraries and the corporate world, provides you with proven strategies for developing marketing plans and campaigns with diversity and inclusion in mind, and shows you how you can avoid some major pitfalls as you develop your plan.

By participating in this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the foundational principles of creating marketing strategies that are inclusive and speak to diverse audiences
  • Understand the connection between diversity, inclusion, and advocating your library's role in the community
  • Learn how to develop an inclusive marketing plan that avoids common mistakes and pitfalls

While completing your purchase, fill in the name and e-mail address of the group leader who will sign in to the event by clicking the "Attendees" button to the right of the item in your cart.
