Known fondly as the “ShibSibs”, American ice dancing duo Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani are two-time Olympic bronze medalists, and the first ice dancers of Asian descent to medal at the Olympics. They have also won six titles on the Grand Prix series and stood on the podium at 14 consecutive U.S. Championships. The siblings are taking their talents off the ice and debuting their first book with co-author Michelle Schusterman, Kudo Kids: The Mystery of the Masked Medalist. A fast-paced middle-grade mystery, the book is set at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where theKudo Kids plan to eat tons of delicious Japanese food, watch every event they can, and win a super-popular new game called OlympiFan.
