Lisa Romero

Lisa Romero is an Associate Professor and Head of the Communications Library at the University of Illinois. She is founder and former chair of the American Library Association Communication Studies Committee and the ALA Electronic Resources in Communication Studies Committee, editor of Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly's Newly Released column, editor of Resources for College Libraries' Journalism and Communication section and author of numerous scholarly journal articles. She has consulted extensively on the evaluation of the academic journalism library collection and numerous communication studies resources and databases. Ms. Romero served as Chair of the ALA, Association of College and Research Libraries, Education and Behavioral Sciences Section during the 2006/07 term.
