Kristen Rocha

Kristen Rocha is the New York Public Library's Manager of Early Childhood Education. She supervises early childhood educational programming across NYPL's 89 branch libraries, which includes developing programs and staff training, and managing community partnerships with organizations like the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Mayor's Office. Kristen has over five years of experience designing and implementing educational programs in museums and libraries. Prior to joining the NYPL she created and delivered outreach programming for the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. When not working with children and their families at the library, Kristen can be found swing dancing, or training her new puppy! Kristen is a new member of ALSC's Early Childhood Services and Programs Committee.
