How to Read Manga Poster
Highlight your manga collection with this new poster that introduces novice manga readers to the genre including how to read the panels, speech bubbles, and other visual cues. A simplified bookmark is also available and serves as a handy reminder on how to read manga. These helpful products were developed by Jillian Rudes, author of Manga In Libraries: A Guide for Teen Librarians published by ALA Editions.
Jillian is a New York City school librarian who also serves as the Japanese culture and manga librarian for the New York City Department of Education. She is also the founder of Manga in Libraries, a company which provides readers’ advisory lists and hosts webinars, panels, and workshops.
