Eric D. Scott

Eric D. Scott has worked in University of California libraries for more than 15 years and has been involved with large and small construction and renovation projects. The largest of these is the UC Merced Library, where he is currently Director of Administrative Services and Head of Access Services. After earning a Bachelor's degree in History and Geography at the University of California, Los Angeles, he worked in libraries for several years before pursuing an MLIS at San Jose State University. Prior to his work in libraries, he was a journeyman carpenter working for small contractors doing primarily residential remodeling and residential and light commercial construction.
