Kara Fennell Walker is the Head of Youth Services with the Geauga County Public Library in Ohio. She has worked as a children's librarian in public libraries for over fifteen years and is currently serving as a member of ALSC's Early Childhood Programs and Services committee. Her area of expertise is providing library services to children from birth to age five, creating family programs, and developing new community outreach. When not in working with children and their families at the library, Kara can be found at home wrangling her own two kiddos, ages one and four.
