Ann M. Wasman

Ann M. Wasman retired after thirty-one years in public schools. She was an English teacher, a library media specialist at the junior high and high school levels, and a district coordinator for K-12. She also worked as an in-service coordinator for a special education cooperative. Wasman copublished Library Insights, Promotion and Programs (LIPP), a library PR newsletter, for fifteen years and was coauthor of Grand Schemes and Nitty Gritty Details published by Libraries Unlimited. She recently edited Ideas for Promoting Your School Library Media Program for AASL and worked on the Know It All video series for Great Plains National. She has contributed articles, conducted workshops, and given presentations to state and regional associations across the United States. She resides in Illinois with her husband Ben and their two dogs.
