Ana Elba-Pavon

Ana Elba-Pavon is the children's services manager at the San Francisco Public Library's Mission branch. Not only does the Mission branch hold the city's largest Spanish collection but also it hosts weekly Spanish and bilingual story times. Active in Bibliotecas Para la Gente, her local REFORMA chapter, Pavon served as the Latino researcher for ALA's "Celebrate America's Diversity" initiative. She earned her master's degree in library and information science from the University of California, Berkeley.
