This concise guide features reading strategies geared for elementary and secondary students as well as a hearty nod to free and voluntary reading programs supported by school library media programs. Leading reading experts contribute their thoughts on the current state of reading instruction in our schools. Action steps for collaborative planning and teaching empower practitioners to provide best practices for reading engagement.
