Mary Kelly is the Youth Services librarian at the Lyon Township Public Library in South Lyon, Mich. Mary is passionate about collection quality, and can be found digging through the stacks searching for that odd title or hunched over the computer looking at spreadsheets. She also molds young minds through Toddler Disco. Mary is the co-author with Holly Hibner of the book Making a Collection Count and the popular blog Awful Library Books.

The Public Library Association (PLA) is a division of the American Library Association. PLA’s core purpose is to strengthen public libraries and their contribution to the communities they serve.
